The BDE Company includes dedicated students and pre-professional dancers, ranging in age from 11-18, all of whom train to achieve high standards of excellence in various forms of dance, including ballet, modern, jazz, and character dance. Selected through yearly auditions, company dancers undertake a rigorous daily training schedule at the Barrington Dance Academy. In addition to their training and performance in BDE’s full production ballets, ensemble members take part in community outreach programs, bringing the beauty and discipline of dance to area grade school children, senior citizens, festival audiences, and at other special events.
